Who Must Receive the Notice

The requirements of serving notice for any reason under the Act will be satisfied if the notice is given (served) to one person who comes within the definition of landlord or tenant. This means that a notice can also be served upon a building manager, or upon one adult person who falls within the definition of a tenant of the premises.
