Time of Inspection

Landlords must provide tenants with two opportunities to attend inspections by suggesting two different days that are not holidays. The law says that the inspection can take place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. You can state that the inspection will go ahead on the second suggested day, if it does not occur on the first suggested day.

If a tenant refuses to take part in an inspection on either of the suggested days, you must record this fact in the inspection report.
