Time of EntryEven if you have served notice, you cannot enter the property at any time. The notice must state at what time you are going to enter but can be stated as between two times of a reasonable length. You cannot enter on a holiday, including Sundays. If a tenant has a different day of religious worship, he must give you written notice of that day. You can then enter on a Sunday, but not the day that is the tenant’s day of religious worship. Notice of entry must be served at least 24 hours before the time you are proposing to enter the premises. The period when you are going to enter must be between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. January 2006 |
