Form of Notice

A notice to enter the property must

  • be in writing;
  • be signed by you or your agent;
  • state the reason that you are entering the premises; and
  • state the date and time of entry that complies with the restrictions regarding holidays and hours of entry.

There is no prescribed form that you have to use, but organizations such as landlord and tenant boards and apartment associations sell forms that can be used.
