Remedies During TenancyYou have obligations that are imposed by the law, for example, allowing the tenant possession and peaceful enjoyment of the property in both fixed-term and periodic tenancies. You may also take on extra obligations under the tenancy agreement (such as an obligation to make repairs on the property). If you are not fulfilling your obligations or are acting in a way prohibited by the Residential Tenancies Act, a tenant can apply to court for one or more of the following remedies:
